If you have a router on your network, we recommend that you modify your DNS settings there. This way, you typically only have to make one change, as opposed to making a change to each computer or device on your network.
Login to your router
To login and configure your router, you need to use a web browser. Simply type in your routers IP address to get started.
If you don't know the IP address for your router, it is typically one of the following:
If you have forgotten your router's username and/or password, the most common username is "admin" and the password is either blank, "admin" or "password." Most new routers now have unique usernames and passwords written directly on them.
Find the DNS server settings
Look for "DNS" next to a field which allows two or three sets of numbers (these fields may be empty).
3. Put in your desired Free Recursive DNS server IP addresses and click save/apply
Please write down your current DNS settings, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
