Ten years ago, our founders Jon Vein and Wes Nichols began MarketShare as a two-person team. Today, MarketShare is one of the most influential software companies in the world, guiding tens of billions of marketing dollars globally, employing 500 professionals across multiple continents, and serving critical marketing functions at 26 Fortune 500 brands. With our headquarters in Los Angeles from our beginnings through today, we are a true LA success story.

Here are just a few examples of MarketShare's prominence as an LA technology leader:

  • This year, Jon Vein and Wes Nichols were named to the 2015 TechWeek100 for Los Angeles, a listing of the LA-based founders and executives at the forefront of technology innovation. The group included such visionaries as Elon Musk of SpaceX and Tesla; Evan Spiegel & Bobby Murphy of SnapChat; and John Ball of Disney’s investment arm, Steamboat Ventures.
  • Last year, MarketShare was the fastest-growing Los Angeles tech company, by revenue, on Deloitte’s 2014 Technology Fast500 list for North America. 2014 was MarketShare’s second year on the Fast500 listing; we anticipate another strong showing in this year's Deloitte Fast500, which will be announced next week. Back-to-back mentions on the list are notable because leader-level growth is so difficult to maintain. MarketShare, bucking the trend, is clearly not slowing down.
  • It’s only fitting that LA Mayor Eric Garcetti addressed our annual North American employee gathering, held today. At the meeting, the Mayor heralded MarketShare amongst the Los Angeles technology trailblazers shaping the future of engineering, science, and new applications.

As we look forward to the next stage of our company’s story, we will continue to shape the future of global technology—right here in LA.
