What do Jessica Alba, Mario Batali, Sheryl Sandberg, Ethan Hawke, and Neustar executives have in common?  All walked the same stages and held audiences in rapt attention last week at AdvertistingWeek 2014 in NYC.  This was a great week to talk transformation, data, brands, and creating great content.  And while, say  . . . Kevin Spacey, had a slightly different perspective than Neustar’s Yosha Ulrich-Sturmat, both kept their audiences engaged and stirred vigorous debate in the crowd.

Facebook-Omnicom-Neustar partnership announced: Last week, across various venues, leaders from these three brands announced the partnership to help drive Facebook’s “People-Based Marketing” initiative.  The launch of Atlas - their ad serving and measurement platform - gives marketers and agencies the insight to guide brand journeys and create impact in new ways.  It leverages anonymized data from real people and real actions.

Neustar execs take the stage: Lisa Joy Rosner, Yosha Ulrich-Sturmat, Lisa Peterson, and Rob Gatto all took the stage to address specific needs of the audience.  Across their 4 sessions, Neustar executives drew over-capacity crowds and captivated their audiences.  From showing our products to showcasing our ideas, Neustar had a good week in New York.

The elephant in the room: Strategically placed, the Neustar experience booth drew tons of traffic from attendees as they connected to the idea of Identity Matters.  They tweeted to get ribbons reflecting their identity.  We reported that data back to the audience during Lisa Joy’s keynote (Key finding – a large percentage of advertising people relate to Don Draper!)
