Neustar Continues to Provide Number Portability Services to the Canadian Telecommunications Industry

Neustar, Inc. (NSR), a trusted, neutral provider of real-time information services, today announced that the Canadian LNP Consortium Inc. (CLNPC) signed an agreement under which Neustar will continue to provide number portability services to the Canadian telecommunications industry through December 31, 2018.

Neustar has served as the Local Number Portability Administrator (LNPA) for both the United States of America and Canada for nearly two decades, providing critical infrastructure essential to accurate call routing, consumer choice and competition, and foundational support for the communications industry’s transition to IP networks.
