Employee Involvement Policy
Neustar employees have a strong tradition of supporting many community causes, and we believe that supporting employees’ volunteer interests helps make the communities where they live and work thrive. Acting on this belief, Neustar encourages each of its full-time employees to take 8 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer for non-profits and community organizations. Through this initiative, Neustar allows for up to 10,000 hours of community service annually. In 2013, Neustar began a community giving program that awards donations to a different community group each month, based on employee-nominated charitable organizations.
In addition, Neustar employees lead volunteer and fundraising efforts throughout the year, including the Best Buddy Century Ride in both California and the DC area, Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Avon Walk for the Cure, beach clean-ups, and more. Neustar employees also organize in-kind drives to collect food, school supplies, toys, coats and assemble care packages for the troop and for disaster relief.
