Intercarrier Communications Process (ICP)
NeuStar's Intercarrier Communications Process (ICP) is an integral part of the company's Wireless Number Portability (WNP) Clearinghouse model. The WNP Clearinghouse was designed to automate all wireless-to-wireless and wireline-to-wireless (interspecies) port request transactions between service providers, as well as Local Service Request (LSR) transaction processing. Electronic updates are made to NeuStar's Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) through a single, integrated service.
