Our services include the policies, systems and experienced workforce needed to manage the receipt, review, validation and fulfillment of requests for the production of customer information under legal process (subpoena, court order, or search warrant).

Our seasoned staff, consisting of attorneys and certified paralegals, directly interfaces with LEAs, prosecutors and civil attorneys to verify the validity of records and to clarify the scope of orders.
To maintain our high standards, we have developed a proven process to work with the law enforcement agencies.
- Review and validate the legal process we receive on your behalf.
- Remotely access customer care and/or billing systems to retrieve the records required to fulfill the demand.NeuStar works closely with your IT and Operations departments to assure we have non-intrusive, secure, read-only access to the appropriate data sources.
- Redact and format records retrieved in searches and deliver the records to the requesting entity. NeuStar manages the primary support responsibility to provide answers to questions concerning the records and to manage the subsequent activity necessary to fulfill the request. This support includes court testimony, as required, to certify the authenticity of any records produced according to the request.
- Retain a copy of the legal process, records produced, the certificate of authenticity, and any associated correspondence, acting in our capacity as custodian of records.
- Provide you with a monthly CD with a full copy of all of the items above for each demand, so your legal departments have the ability to conduct a full audit of our work.
