Neustar’s local number portability (LNP) expertise extends globally. We are trusted to enable wireline and mobile customers in the following countries to retain their phone numbers when switching carriers:

Taiwan
Neustar supports and maintains Taiwan’s Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) on behalf of Taiwan’s Telecom Technology Center (TTC). Taiwan’s NPAC also disseminates telephone network information used by carriers to properly route voice and data traffic between networks throughout Taiwan. By offering interoperability among multiple and disparate communications providers and services, Taiwan now delivers trusted, proven number portability capabilities and other essential intercarrier services to millions of consumers nationwide.

Brazil
Neustar, in partnership with ClearTech, a Brazilian IT solutions provider, provides telephone number portability services to Latin America’s largest nation. Today, Neustar operates Brazil’s centralized LNP database and manages the various steps involved in both fixed and mobile phone number portability, from the initial portability request of the consumer through the completion of the portability process.
